Kaptivate has been awarded a new contract by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, to deliver digital marketing, storytelling, and technical training that will strengthen opportunities particularly women entrepreneurs and the rapidly growing silver economy segment (individuals aged 50+) across Latin America and the Caribbean.

This region is undergoing significant demographic and economic transformations. It is experiencing a rapidworld bank (2) demographic shift, with the population aged 65 and above expected to double by 2050. This aging trend presents challenges and opportunities for economic development. Simultaneously, women entrepreneurs in the region face a substantial financing gap of approximately $92 billion, limiting their ability to contribute fully to economic growth.

Through this engagement, Kaptivate will design communications campaigns, create digital content, and develop training materials to help financial institutions expand their support for women-led micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

“We are proud to partner with the IFC to champion innovation and economic opportunity for women entrepreneurs and the silver economy,” said Ron Vassallo, CEO of Kaptivate. “This project reflects our deep commitment to helping institutions use digital tools and strategic communications to drive growth in underserved markets.”

Kaptivate’s scope of work includes:

  • Creating a digital marketing and communications strategy to promote financial services and tools tailored to women entrepreneurs in the silver economy segment.
  • Designing training content on finance, innovation, and technology for financial institutions serving women-led businesses.
  • Providing strategy and content towards planning a major Silver Economy Congress to take place during 2025 in Mexico City to convene leaders across finance, health, technology, and policy sectors.
  • Supporting the rollout of IFC’s digital assessment tools to strengthen digital capabilities among underserved groups.
  • Capturing lessons learned to guide future initiatives.

This award builds on Kaptivate’s track record of helping organizations leverage innovation, strategic communications, workforce transformation and data storytelling to create lasting impact.
