Shannon has 22 years of human capital expertise, business acumen, and management consulting experience. She has in-depth experience leading U.S. cabinet-level government officials in critical organizational evaluations and redesign efforts; managing domestic and global cross-cultural transformations; and communicating large-scale modernization initiatives. A former eight-year leader for Deloitte Consulting and Deloitte Gobal, Shannon honed her skill sets ensuring client success through oversight and accountability management, leading executive strategy development, and managing internal and inter-agency stakeholder engagements.
Her proven performance in building and managing high-performing teams to achieve the desired end-state has been sought after by federal contractors, public sector agencies, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and several Veteran-owned small businesses. As a former press secretary, public affairs officer and corporate public relations professional, Shannon often is found on the front lines in evaluating, developing and implementing critical public relations and outreach campaigns. Shannon has a deep knowledge and passion for national security and veteran affairs issues including healthcare, military career transition preparedness, and veteran and military spouse employment. A UVA Darden, Harvard Leadership and Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies alumnus, Shannon brings her graduate work in corporate communications, best-in-class leadership, and human capital expertise to Kaptivate.
Shannon received her Bachelor’s degree from Elon University in political science and law. She is an avid Washington Capitals fan and resides in Alexandria, VA with a large family and a very spoiled dog.
