Formulating a growth strategy for program expansion, brand enhancement, and engagement is undertaken, targeting distinct audience segments: federal practitioners immersed in open innovation and public solvers. Overseeing the conception and execution of more than 20 initiatives encompassing marketing, engagement, knowledge dissemination, and customer support, tailored to the specific needs of each audience, with an emphasis on embracing and implementing open innovation methodologies. Within a single year, a remarkable surge in the customer base across both segments, exceeding 500%, was achieved through various avenues:
In the realm of Social Media Marketing, a robust campaign was crafted and executed, consistently reinforcing the Challenge.Gov brand to a daily audience of over 20,000 followers. This endeavor led to a staggering increase of over 1,000% in impressions, a growth of newsletter subscribers by 1,200%, and a monthly acquisition of more than 300 challenge.gov customers. Furthermore, skillfully navigating the GSA's approval process enabled the launch of a dedicated Linkedin page for the program.
The facet of Engagement was addressed with comprehensive strategic plans tailored to both audience segments. Launching virtual engagement initiatives proved pivotal, resulting in an extraordinary expansion of federal engagement by over 500%.
For Knowledge sharing, a multifaceted approach was adopted. Innovative products like newsletters and toolkits were designed and launched, while experiential offerings like office hours, deep dive sessions, and FAQs were introduced to effectively curate and disseminate collective federal knowledge on open innovation. Sustaining, enhancing, and safeguarding the government's open source platform, Challenge.gov, remained a priority.
In the realm of Customer support, an escalated provision of 1-on-1 technical assistance and consultative support for federal managers was cultivated, further bolstering the program's impact and reach.
